Quorix (“the app”) is a daily micro-learning application published by Tyco Software. We respect your privacy.
Data we collect
- No account required. We do not ask you to sign up or log in.
- On-device data: Card progress, streak, favorites, and quiz results are stored locally in a database on your device only.
- Preferences: Theme (dark/light), language, and notification time are saved on your device.
What we do not do
- We do not send your learning progress to our servers.
- We do not require an account or collect your name or email in the app.
Offline and online features
- Offline: Daily learning cards, category archives (preview), favorites, streak, quiz questions from bundled content, and settings work without internet.
- Online: The News tab loads headlines from third-party RSS feeds (e.g. BBC, TRT). Today's headlines card may also use live feeds when you are online. Ads (Google AdMob) require a network connection.
- Learning content is bundled in the app (365 daily packs per language).
Sharing
If you use the in-app Share feature, the content you choose is sent through your operating system’s share sheet (e.g. Messages, Instagram). That flow is outside Quorix and governed by the app you share to.
Notifications
If you enable daily reminders, a local notification is scheduled at the time you select. No push notification server is used. You can turn reminders off anytime in Settings.
Advertising
Quorix may display ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data according to Google’s Privacy Policy. On iOS, you may be asked for App Tracking Transparency permission; you can deny it and still use the app.
Children
The app is intended for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated policy.
